I was out on tour today and saw this open ranch in Shady Acres of DG. Small street that is heavily wooded. This is a ranch that sold at the beginning of 2010 with multiple offers. Transfer puts it back on for $425,000. Last year sold for $435,000. I thought it was a pretty cool home and just wanted to let anyone looking for a ranch to know about it. I also saw a home at 304 S. Kenilworth in Elmhurst today for $615,000. Needs updating but a cool street.
I still love Western Springs but I just wanted you all to know about some of the other towns that offer a quick train ride to the city and a great school system.
Don't forget Downers Grove has a wonderful library!! They seem to purchase every new book that is published. Much, much more extensive than Thomas Ford. If you like mysteries, check out the new mysteries shelves at the Downers Grove Library.
