The last sale made me wonder how many homes closed in 2002 compared to 2008. For 2002 I am taking all closings on all types of properties in Western Springs for a full 12 months. The number of closings were 199 ranging in price from the lowest of $162,000 to the most expensive being $1,400,000. There were 3 sales over a million that year.
For this year we have 123 closings to date. They range in price from $185,000 to $2,250,000. There have been 17 sales closed for over a million.
